It is hard to believe, but imagine that under our feet lies an entire world – yes, you heard correctly! Earth is not as simple as it seems at first glance. The Hollow Earth theory, first introduced into the scientific realm in the 17th century, still stirs debates and discussions. Today, we embark on a fascinating journey through this mysterious hypothesis.
When we consider the vastness of our planet and the fact that the depths beneath our feet are largely unexplored, it’s not entirely implausible to imagine hidden realms within the Earth. — John Cleves Symmes, Jr.
Within the depths of our planet, there exist vast empty spaces, lakes, forests, and maybe even civilizations! Charles Holloway, in his book “Underworld,” presented numerous arguments for the existence of massive hollow spaces inside Earth as early as the mid-20th century. Proponents of this theory provide astonishing testimonies from eyewitnesses who claim to have seen entrances to underground worlds in the Arctic or Antarctic. This information opens doors to incredible theories, scientific research, and boundless fantasies.
Sensational facts that can prove the theory
- It seems incredible, but Hollow Earth has its pseudo-scientific arguments! In one of the current studies, published in “Geophysical Research Letters,” scientists investigated gravitational anomalies and noticed some surprising facts. Theories about underground oceans in the Earth’s mantle have received validation. For instance, in 2014, a team of researchers discovered the mineral ringwoodite, which contains water and confirms the presence of an “underground ocean” three times the volume of all the seas and oceans on the surface!
- Research leads to shocking conclusions: it is possible that ancient civilizations are indeed hidden beneath the ice of Antarctica! An American scientist, traveler, and writer, Dr. Brooks Agastya, claims that during one of his expeditions, he found an entrance to the underground world and even visited it! Of course, such statements can be viewed skeptically, but they excite the imagination and open the field for new research and scientific discoveries.
- Jan Lamprecht, in his book “Hollow Planet Seismic Model vs Solid Earth Seismology”, elaborates on why his “seismic hollow planet model” better explains Earth’s seismology than the existing model. He also provides data from the seismic station where he worked.
- According to the author of the film “The Illuminati Knowledge”, the phenomenon in the sky known as “silver clouds” can currently only be explained by the Hollow Earth theory (in the improved version proposed by the author). Since the 1980s, there hasn’t been any academic theory that accurately describes the process and cause of this unusual effect. All attempts to explain this effect using only condensation particles have failed.
- The Northern Lights cannot occur without charged particles. However, their presence alone does not guarantee their appearance because one more element is needed — an inert gas. Simply put, it is not entirely clear what exactly causes the luminescence. The amount of inert gases in our atmosphere is insufficient to produce the strong luminescence we observe. The concentration of argon in the atmosphere is only 0.932%. The concentrations of other inert gases are so low they are measured in negative exponents. There are no physical experiments that confirm the possibility of the upper atmosphere glowing without the participation of inert gases. Thus, the auroras are partly related to the process of the Earth losing its atmosphere internally.
- For five years, the Aqua satellite has not taken a single image of the North Pole without the so-called “black circle” covering this area. This fact could be ignored if it weren’t for NASA’s official response, which completely debunks the popular online explanation as to why the “black circle” appears in images: “Aqua is in a polar orbit, and therefore it takes more than one day to get an image of the entire surface of the Earth (around 1.5 to 2 days). If this image were compiled from data collected over more than one day, then this black circle would not appear in the image, because the satellite would have had time to collect data from the entire surface of the planet, including the geographical North Pole. The ‘field of view’ refers to the amount of data the satellite can collect while in a certain orbit at a certain time.”
- In Antarctica, there is an anomalous area called the “gates of hell” where wind speeds reach up to two hundred meters per second. This phenomenon does not fit with any existing theories unless the entrance to a hollow Earth (polar opening) is located nearby, which would fully explain this anomaly.
The Relationship Between Hollow Earth and Flat Earth Theories
The Hollow Earth and Flat Earth theories, while seemingly disparate, share intriguing conceptual intersections worth investigating. In the Flat Earth model, the Earth is a vast plane extending indefinitely, where the notion of a hollow structure is not about depth beneath a spherical surface but rather about vast, inhabitable caverns and realms beneath the flat plane.
Historical accounts, such as those from ancient explorers and mythological narratives, often describe subterranean kingdoms and expansive caverns, lending credence to the Hollow Earth aspect within the flat paradigm.
Scientifically, several anomalous magnetic and gravitational readings suggest variations in density beneath the Earth’s surface, which could imply hidden chambers or void spaces that resonate with the Hollow Earth theory.
We are like geographers, studying the outline of continents, but ignorant of the nature of the interior except in so far as we test the behaviour of rocks under great pressures. — Arthur Holmes
Mathematically, both theories often rely on alternative interpretations of known data, such as the varying paths of seismic waves, to support their claims. Artistic representations, from Dante’s “Inferno” to Jules Verne’s “Journey to the Center of the Earth,” envision worlds below our feet, suggesting that these ideas have deep roots in human imagination and cultural expression.
Under the Flat Earth concept, these underground realms could be vast networks beneath the plane, rather than a concentric hollow sphere. Geographical anomalies like massive cave systems and underground lakes could then be seen as entrances to these hidden worlds.
The convergence of these theories offers a vivid alternative perspective on Earth’s structure, encouraging a re-examination of conventional scientific frameworks. Ultimately, the synthesis of Hollow Earth and Flat Earth theories proposes a captivating, albeit controversial, vision of our world that invites further curiosity and exploration.
